MCP Server
Connect your AI assistant (Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code) directly to Mailaura. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables you to manage campaigns, templates, lists, and automations using natural language.
What is the MCP Server?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that enables AI assistants to interact directly with external tools. The Mailaura MCP Server provides over 30 tools that let your AI assistant create campaigns, select templates, generate content, and manage automations – all via chat.
Create an API key in Mailaura (Dashboard → Settings → API)
Configure the MCP server: Add the server to your AI client
Add configuration to your AI client (see examples below)
Test the connection: Ask your assistant 'Show me my campaigns'
Create your first AI-powered campaign via chat
Available Tools
The MCP server provides over 30 tools in 6 categories: Campaigns (create, send, statistics), Templates (browse gallery, get schema, apply), AI Content (generate template fields, analyze subject lines), Lists & Subscribers (list, filter), RSS Campaigns (create, activate, pause), and Automations (create, activate, templates).
Tip
Just tell your AI assistant: 'Create a newsletter about Black Friday using the promotional template' – the MCP server handles the rest. It selects the right template, generates matching content, and creates the campaign automatically.
Configuration
For Cursor IDE, add the following configuration to ~/.cursor/mcp.json. For Claude Desktop, add it to ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json (macOS). Replace ml_your_api_key with your actual API key.
Compatible AI Clients
The Mailaura MCP Server is compatible with: Cursor IDE, Claude Desktop, VS Code (with MCP extension), Windsurf, and all other clients that support the Model Context Protocol.
